City arrived at an abandoned Greek village Kayaköy after a long walk of 7km.
Till 1922 Anatolian Greeks had lived there. Kayaköy was evacuated in 1922 because of the exchange of Turks with Anatolian Greeks and the new people didn't take up the existing houses.
